Pastor David Zimmerman
President - Faith Baptist Church, Maricopa, AZ
Pastor Zimmerman was born in South Texas, but grew up in Southern California and Oklahoma. At the age of 13, he was invited to ride a bus to Sunday School. That Sunday, he heard the Gospel and shortly thereafter received Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Pastor Zimmerman met his wife, Terri, while attending college in Colorado. They have enjoyed 37 years of marriage together. They have three sons and seven grandchildren.
Pastor Zimmerman is a 1985 graduate of Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. He has served for four years as a missionary in Ghana, West Africa, nine years as assistant pastor at Bethel Baptist Church of Grapevine, Texas, and thirteen years as the senior pastor at Bible Baptist Church of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He also served as an adjunct professor at Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City, teaching courses in the Bible and Theology departments. Finally, Pastor Zimmerman also received CLEET training to serve as a law enforcement chaplain. It was his privilege to work with the men and women of the Sapulpa Police Department in that capacity for eleven years. |
Pastor Mitchell Crittenden
Treasurer - Hillcrest Baptist Church, Desert Hills, AZ
Pastor Mitchell Crittenden grew up in South Carolina and was saved at the age of 10. He surrendered to preach four years later at a teen camp in the summer. He attended Bible College in Lancaster, CA where he met his wife Alexa. It was also here that the Lord really began to impress upon his heart the need for churches in the west. Shortly after graduating, Mitchell and Alexa were married and served an internship at North Valley Baptist Church in Phoenix, AZ.
The Crittendens served with Pastor Brent Loveless and the church family for four years. In the fall of 2016 they were sent out of North Valley Baptist Church to prepare and plant a church about 25 miles north in Desert Hills, AZ. The Crittendens have been married since 2013 and have three children: Aislynn, Zander, and Pearce. |
Pastor Alfred King
Secretary - North Valley Baptist Church, Oro Valley, AZ
Pastor Alfred King grew up in the Tucson area and has long had a love for both the beauty of the Arizona desert as well as the people who have made it their home. After graduating high school, he moved to Oklahoma City, OK, where he attended the Heartland Baptist Bible College and graduated four years later with a BA in Biblical Studies. During his time in college he married Mrs. Shirley, also from the Tucson area. Shortly after his graduation, he went on staff at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberal, KS under the leadership of Pastor Bill Prater. After three years, he made preparations to establish the North Valley Baptist Church in Oro Valley, AZ, which was started in April of 2010. God has blessed Pastor King and Mrs. Shirley with five beautiful children, Kayla, Hayley, Ethan, Ashlynn, and Melody.
